Disclaimer Regarding Funeral Arrangements

At Argos Funeral Services, we strive to provide compassionate and efficient support during times of bereavement. We would like to clarify an important part of the process regarding the documentation required for funeral arrangements.

While we work diligently to complete all necessary steps to obtain the death certificate and the required permit for cremation or burial, unforeseen circumstances and procedural delays may occur. These delays can affect the timing of the physician’s signature and/or permit approval, which may impact any planned services.

For this reason, please do not schedule or finalize any viewing, funeral, or celebration of life service without first speaking with an Argos Funeral Services staff member. Our staff will confirm documentation status and verify available dates and times directly with the chapel and/or crematory to avoid scheduling conflicts or disruptions.

Our priority is to support you and your family during this difficult time, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we navigate these required procedures together.

If you have any questions or need clarification, please contact us at any time. We are here to assist you.

NOTE: PAYMENT IN FULL IS REQUIRED

The client acknowledges and agrees that full payment for all requested services is required prior to the commencement of any work. No services will be scheduled, initiated, or performed until the total agreed-upon fee has been paid in full. Timely payment is essential to maintaining the service schedule; any delay or failure to remit payment may result in the postponement or cancellation of services without further notice.

All prices are subject to change without notice.

While unfamiliar to most, (non-cremated) full-body burial at sea is allowed under the authority of the EPA

Burial at sea has been a time-honored tradition for mariners, military, and those with a fondness of the ocean for thousands of years.

Full-Body burial at sea can be performed using a specially made natural sail-cloth shroud.

Interment is conducted in approved federal waters off the coast of California.

Argos Funeral Services offers your family this meaningful, eco-friendly, and cost-saving alternative to a traditional burial.

Why Consider Full-Body Burial At Sea...

Full-Body Burial at Sea conserves our natural resources and saves considerable finances when compared to the expense of traditional cemetery burial. Imagine eliminating the cemetery's cost entirely while providing a meaningful and eco-friendly burial.

When a family burial plot is not an option because of location, costs, or other coordination. Full-Body Burial at Sea can offer your family a new tradition that expresses individuality, dignity, and closure.

When the need arises, close family members can be interred at the same coordinates allowing the same closure and significance of proximity traditional burial conveys.

Long after internment, family members can visit the exact location for remembrance or for ceremonial purposes. Just visiting the ocean shore can evoke powerful memories of the loved ones we have returned to its awe-inspiring embrace.

For many, burial at sea symbolizes a return to the very place which sustains life on our planet… a symbolic cycle of completion and harmony.

Full-Body Burial at Sea can be provided in conjunction with a traditional funeral service (attended or non-attended).
